Gelateria Venezia in Luneburg

Two months ago we were at the Venezia ice cream parlor. ?Exterior: Certainly an economical top downtown location with a gastronomic outdoor area, which is located directly in front of the hustle and bustle of the bus stops with screaming students and in the middle of the urban tourist stream, who like to wander between the tables to walk the way with very hectic hustle and bustle! ?Quality ice cream / gelati: The ice cream was generally good in taste, unfortunately processed with gelati aromas, and certainly not homemade but delivered and delivered in machine-filled ice boxes / gastro bain's. Price-performance ?The high price for the linen ball size leaves a lot to be desired and shows that it is more about the (tourist) mass, i.e. quantity, than the quality of the bar, portion and ice cream quality in the café. ?The banana split that some of us ordered was neatly presented (as in every usual ice cream parlor), but without the "the" taste aha effect, as the reviews tend to suggest. ?Service: .. was very eager to be friendly or polite and appeared a bit or slightly overwhelmed. The first order came quickly to the table, but when it comes to re-ordering something, it could take a while or you generally do without a re-order. ?Perhaps we will come back and hope for a gastronomic, customer-oriented, qualitative, performance-price-adjusted action towards the customer. Anyone who has ever been to Venice should not expect a "Dolce Vita" there in Café Venezia.

Am Sande, THE ice cream shop with a large and delicious selection of ice cream. The staff is very friendly.

Had ordered a cappuchino. But get a huge cup of coffee-milk mixture. Didn't get it down due to the amount of milk. Tip to the owner: Googling what Cappuchino is. And then either hold it halfway or take it off the menu.

Nice location. Ice cream is good, if not great ... prices are reasonable.

I went to the bathroom here once. When going through everything looked very nice, but also very small and stocky. That would be a bit too restrictive for me personally, by the way, that also applies to the outside area, the tables and chairs are already quite close together, there is not much space to spread out. The toilets were clean but had very low ceilings and everything looked a bit dated. You have to like it, it's also a matter of taste somewhere. The staff looked a bit stressed, but it could also be because it was a busy day.

I was on vacation with my girlfriend in Lunenburg very beautiful city, which we stopped in the ice cream parlor Eis Café Venezia, nice and funny waiters to come back, not German but traditional Italian ice cream parlor

One star for the delicious ice cream but 4 star deduction for the service full of the rip off they gave us 10 € less we bought 6 scoops of ice cream and had to pay 7 to 7.50 and paid with a 20 € note and got 3 € back totally naughty conditions??? would never go again.

There were five of us just now. There are 2 stars for the good ice cream. But 3 star deduction for the poor service. The young man at the "counter" should urgently attend a German course and above all learn MATH. For 6 scoops of ice cream we had to PAY 17 EUROS ?? !!! The young man said that we had to pay € 7.50, when we put down a € 20 note, we only got € 3 back. When I asked him if we could get another 10 € note, someone else came and said something different than what I had actually said .. I was so angry and didn't feel like discussing and we just left with the 3 € . Supposedly that's how it is there. So we will definitely NEVER come back

Location is right in the center. Ice cream was good and big portions. But otherwise a bit dirty (unclean glasses, toilets dto). Nice service.

Ice cream ok, but: no card payment in the operating area possible in 2020 !!! In addition, the first attempt to add the receipts resulted in 48 EUR instead of 36 EUR, comment from the service employee: Mathematics is not my strength ... (Lower Saxony school system?) This is dubious, so be careful! It is also incomprehensible why no contact details are currently being recorded at the tables. Maybe you can neither calculate nor write / read? Update: We won't come back. But maybe it did a) the health department and b) the tax office time ...?! Have fun and success in preparing the appointment.

When I arrived, I ordered a large Diet Coke and a large banana spaghetti ice cream. I got a banana split and the cola I ordered. After I complained about the banana split, they tried to put the blame on me. I stuck to the fact that I ordered a large spaghetti ice cream. The wrong one was reluctantly taken back and I now have a small spaghetti ice cream for the price of a large one. When I asked the waitress about it, he didn't know what I wanted and now he sent someone else. After a short back and forth, the bill was corrected and I was finally able to pay. Oh, I almost forgot, the ice cream tasted just awful.

Absolutely cheeky and disrespectful waiter, I don't even want to start with the toilets. After this experience, we will avoid this ice cream parlor in the future, as there are far better and more welcoming alternatives in Lüneburg!

Delicious ice cream and large portions. Staff friendly and quick. The outside area could be more well-kept.

If you don't feel like having this ice cream in a plastic cup, you are welcome to take a seat here. Here you get a delicious ice cream served in a real glass! As you know it! The selection is great and the ice cream is homemade. The staff could be a little more on their toes, because if I'm the last to come, I can't be the first of six to be served.

Very well attended, we did not have to wait long and the portions are really very large and in terms of taste I can recommend it to anyone who is nearby. Super super super

I didn’t expect italian ice cream this good in germany. Pistachio tasted awesome. The store has some space to sit. Location is very near to townhall. Really recommend to try.

Great location, right in the heart of lüneburg. Especially on nice days definitely worth taking an ice cream and sit at outdoor tables. Yummy ice cream and excellent and the giant waffle iron. Highly recommended.

Amazing Gelato store and real Italian Coffe. The store is located in an wonderful place where you as a customer can enjoy city. The service is spectacular finally a place where people are frindly. The Gelato is homemade and is so delicious and tasteful, you can choose a large variety of flavors including flavors without milk or cream. The coffe they have is so good! I definitely recommend this place!! The Gelato and the coffe are the best in town and the best that i have actually tried ?
